Mike Harvey offers MSB Woolton pre-season assessment ahead of North West Counties bow
MSB Woolton are in the North West Counties for the first time in their history and manager Mike Harvey has weighed up their prospects.
MSB Woolton manager Mike Harvey says they have to be realistic as they prepare for the unknown.
The club have finally achieved something they have been desperate to land for a number of years - promotion to the North West Counties.
Following an application, a decision from the Football Association and a groundshare with South Liverpool, they will now compete in Division One North with the likes of Maghull, Squires Gate and Daisy Hill.
While there is excitement and trepidation, Harvey stressed that they will enter the season, which kicks off with two gruelling away matches with Darwen and Main Road, with belief, but there must be a sense of realism.
