Mick McGraa slams ‘joke’ decision as Bootle boss eyes City of Liverpool redemption
Bootle are looking to end a barren run of results against City of Liverpool.
Bootle manager Mick McGraa has explained his disbelief at the decision which saw Paul McNally sacked by City of Liverpool, describing it as a ‘joke’.
The Bucks are on a run of five matches without a win over their rivals and Saturday’s instalment sees the third meeting between the two sides, following encounters in the FA Cup and Trophy.
McNally, who replaced Ellison at the helm in 2022, guided the Purps to the playoff final last term and was in the dugout for each of their two wins so far this season.
