Chester booked their place in the National League North playoff semi-final with a 2-1 win over Buxton after extra time.
Chester manager Calum McIntyre was left delighted by his team’s display after the Blues edged past Buxton in a 2-1 win.
Harrison Burke scored the winning goal in second-half extra time to send the Seals through to the semi-final where they will play Kidderminster Harriers.
Iwan Murray fired the hosts to the perfect start after two minutes but the visitors fired back through Tom Elliott.
The two sides couldn’t be separated after 90 minutes and were forced to play an extra half-an-hour but Chester moved up the gears with their pressure paying off in the end.
Burke smashed home with 12 minutes remaining to seal the tie.
