Gary Moore makes Lower Breck demand ahead of Runcorn Linnets clash
Lower Breck slipped to second after Runcorn Linnets' 1-0 win over Chasetown.
Gary Moore says Lower Breck have to snap out of their rut “very quick”.
The Breck relinquished their spot at the summit of the Northern Premier League West in midweek after Runcorn Linnets’ dramatic win over Chasetown. It was a former Breck player that was the hero for the Yellows as Harry McGee’s deflected free-kick sealed a 1-0 win in stoppage time.
Linnets’ unbeaten run under Michael Ellison has coincided with a downturn in form for Moore’s side as they face their toughest period.
They have lost their last three, including a 4-2 defeat to their local rivals two weeks ago, but they can get their revenge when the league’s top two lockhorns on Saturday.
