David Morgan addresses Southport performances - 'It’s down to us'

Southport are still pushing to be mathematically safe in the National League North

Southport caretaker David Morgan says every player has to perform for the remainder of the season following criticism regarding their performances.

The Sandgrounders have come underfire in light of their back-to-back defeats against Scarborough Athletic and Scunthorpe United.

Southport are still yet to be mathematically safe with an 11-point safety net to the bottom four.

Morgan admitted that he finds himself in a difficult position after being installed on a temporary basis after Jim Bentley’s departure.
